Recording orchestral music in Sofia, Bulgaria
Two days before 2024 I had the chance to record an orchestral piece for a 52-pieces orchestra in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was one of my best (if not THE best) experience of my life as a musician. I can’t really express my feelings as I don’t have any words to describe my joy and happiness. Playing drums is something, writing music for orchestra is definitely something else, I can tell I was feeling tiny and I’ve never been THAT stressed before. At the end everything went extremely well and I can’t wait to release the video of this wonderful session.
Last week, I’ve been working with a French band called “Ich Bin Wallou”, (the craziest music I’ve ever played…). To contrast with the complexity of the music, I chose to play a pretty simple kit, here’s a picture! 22, 12, 16, 18 🤟
Studio Time!
These days, I’m really happy to spend some time behind the drums in my studio. I’ve got some recording to do for other musicians and here’s a picture of my monster kit at home.
Fun fact, I’m not even using half of it for these specific recordings but… we never know, at least everything is already set up!
